“Peter”
The persona of Peter is an entirely crafted piece of fiction. I’m aware that some individuals I’ve known in the past bear the same name, but I assure you, the character I conceived is not a reflection of them. Instead, Peter embodies the qualities I admire and seek: boundlessness, immense potential, and an idiosyncratic charm. He’s a figure who defies convention, a character capable of bending, reshaping, and seeing beyond the ordinary constraints.
In the realm of sexuality, I used Peter as a protagonist in several of my narratives, a choice made to explore how a mind of exceptional intellect would interpret and experience sexuality. It would not be an overstatement to say that I was in love with my own creation. Peter became a dream to chase, a solace from the tiresome interactions with the less insightful minds in reality.
However, even the most captivating dreams must come to an end. It’s time to grant Peter a well-deserved retirement. He has served us diligently over the years, providing insights and sparking imaginations. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to have breathed life into him, but I sense that he, like all of us, could use some respite.
For all the Peters in the world, it’s understandable if you harbor a distaste for my work. Nevertheless, I urge you to remember the ‘Principle of Grace,’ a law that implores us to glean a positive lesson from every situation. As the curtain falls on this persona, it’s time for me to let go of Peter. He shall be respectfully placed on the same shelf as Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and other figments of imagination that have once ignited wonder and then quietly retired. But even as we bid farewell, their influence and the lessons they bestowed will forever echo in our hearts, minds and loins.
