VR PORN NEVER TOOK OFF AND MY FAVORITE VIDEO PRODUCED

This video is about diving deep into the mind and giving voice to different parts through parts therapy. It was written for my subject, and you’ll often hear the name ‘Peter’ mentioned. The backstory on Peter is that writing about him was a cathartic experience for me after falling seriously ill in 2018, which led to losing a ten million dollar contract due to health issues.

We had been working on a project called the X Coach, a VR pornography platform designed to provide sex therapy. Then, suddenly, I got sick, and the guy I was dating started acting irrationally.

My co-founder of the VR pornography startup went AWOL, and all our work fell apart despite being the first to market. It was a series of compounded experiences. Writing about Peter became my way of coping with the psychological trauma of nearly losing my life. Now, I find myself writing about this at 3 AM from my office in the desert. Ha, I guess I’m just naturally wired to be a workaholic.
